Language

Drivers Academy offers lessons in both Danish and English. This applies to standard car driving licences, trailer licences (Category BE), and licence reinstatement courses. Students must be able to follow the instruction in either Danish or English, both during the theory lessons and the practical driving lessons.

Registration and Payment

Registration for courses and driving licence programmes takes place through the website http://www.driversacademy.dk/When registering, the student must provide the required information in the registration form. The information is then forwarded to Drivers Academy and processed through our registration system, DriveDesk. A registration is only valid once the student has received a confirmation from Drivers Academy. By registering, the student also accepts Drivers Academy’s current Terms & Conditions and registration policies. Payment is made by invoice, and the registration is only considered binding on the part of Drivers Academy once payment has been received and registered. Drivers Academy reserves the right to reject or cancel a registration in the event of errors, missing information, or other special circumstances. If the student is under the age of 18, consent from a parent or legal guardian is required. The parent or legal guardian will receive information for the purpose of approving the registration.

Prices

All prices displayed on the website are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT. Drivers Academy reserves the right to adjust prices for future driving licence courses and services. Any price changes will not affect registrations that have already been confirmed. Public fees, medical certificates, first aid courses, driving test fees, and any additional driving lessons are not included in the package prices unless otherwise stated.

Non-Payment

Failure to make payment may result in the student’s training programme being temporarily suspended until payment for the services received has been registered. Drivers Academy reserves the right to send payment reminders by email, SMS, or telephone. In the event of continued non-payment, the matter may be referred to a debt collection agency in accordance with applicable Danish legislation. Any interest, fees, and costs associated with debt collection will be charged to the student.

Cancellation and Failure to Attend

In the event of cancellation of a driving lesson, Drivers Academy must be notified no later than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. For cancellations made later than 24 hours before the lesson, or in the event of a no-show, Drivers Academy reserves the right to charge the full fee for the reserved driving lesson, regardless of the reason for the absence. Appointments for the manoeuvring track (manøvrebane) and slippery road training (glatbane) are binding and must be cancelled no later than 7 days before the scheduled training session. In the event of late cancellation or failure to attend, Drivers Academy may charge for the reserved training session and any fees imposed by external partners. The student is responsible for attending all scheduled theory lessons, driving lessons, manoeuvring track sessions, and slippery road training sessions on time.

Right of Withdrawal 

You may cancel your registration within 14 days from the date on which you receive your registration confirmation. By registering, the student also agrees that the training programme may commence before the expiry of the withdrawal period. In such cases, the right of withdrawal will be reduced or cease to apply, in whole or in part, in proportion to the services already provided under the purchased package.

Personal Data Protection (GDPR)

Drivers Academy may process personal information such as your name, telephone number, email address, and other information provided in connection with registration. When you complete forms on the website, Drivers Academy processes the information that you voluntarily provide. Information submitted in connection with registration is also processed through Drivers Academy’s registration system, DriveDesk, for the purpose of administering student registrations and driving licence programmes. Photos and Social Media 

Drivers Academy may take photographs and video recordings in connection with lessons, events, or successful driving test completions. During registration, students may choose to give their consent for Drivers Academy to use photographs and video recordings on its website, social media platforms, and in marketing materials. Providing consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting Drivers Academy in writing via email.

Equipment and Responsibility

Students are responsible for bringing a tablet, laptop, or other necessary electronic device for theory lessons. Drivers Academy does not provide electronic equipment. All electronic devices are brought and used at the student’s own risk. Drivers Academy cannot be held liable for theft, damage, loss, or technical malfunctions relating to the student’s equipment, including any damage that may occur while the equipment is on the driving school’s premises.

Cookie Policy

Drivers Academy only uses cookies and technical solutions that are necessary for the functionality of the website. The website may contain embedded services or links to third-party services, including Google Maps, Facebook, and Instagram. These services may use their own cookies or collect information in accordance with their respective privacy and cookie policies. Drivers Academy does not use cookies for statistics, analytics, or marketing purposes.

Liability

Drivers Academy reserves the right to change lesson schedules, course start dates, or training programmes in the event of illness, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Drivers Academy accepts no liability for any errors or omissions in prices, descriptions, or information published on the website.
